Mokwaledi Mokwenaotsile, born and raised in Molepolole, began his career in transport and logistics in 1994 before starting his own business in 2001. He became an active member of the Botswana Democratic Party in 1999 and started his political career in 2011 as Deputy Chairperson of Ntlolengwe Ward. He later served as Treasurer of the Molepolole North Branch in 2012. After winning the primaries in 2013, he lost the 2014 general elections but continued to serve in various party structures. He won the 2018 primaries and became a Councillor in 2019, serving as Chairperson of the SHAA Committee and as an Audit Committee Member.
